Brainstorming for my Final Product

A lot of this past week was spent with me brainstorming different ideas for my final product. Over winter break, I came up with a few different possibilities for what I could do for my final product, such as creating a research paper over the topic of digital marketing or global marketing, but although these topics really interest me, I still wanted to continue brainstorming to see what other ideas I could come up with. During my first mentor meeting with Ms. Lacy Edmondson, Ms. Edmondson talked about a couple of different things that Kendra Scott is currently working in order to help spark ideas for my final product. She discussed Kendra Scott’s goal of advocating for and supporting the cause of mental health, in relation to the grant they are giving to Active Minds, as well as Kendra Scott’s goal to reach and connect more with Generation Z individuals like myself. After thinking about these two Kendra Scott projects for a while, I came up with the idea of researching innovative marketing tactics to reach Gen Z and applying these tactics to Kendra Scott by proposing different ways that Kendra Scott can better reach this Gen Z audience. Separate from this idea, I also came up with the idea of creating a marketing guide for small businesses to be able to better market during these COVID times. I am still deciding between these two ideas for my final product and hope that I will be able to speak with Ms. Edmondson this week to discuss them. This past week, I was also able to reflect a little more on my first mentor meeting with Ms. Edmondson by creating my first mentor visit assessment.
