All About the “New” Wave of Marketing

I began this week by building my connections on LinkedIn and continuing to ask professionals if they would be willing to do an interview. I am anticipating having a few more interviews set up and completed by mid-November, and I am so beyond excited about them. Interviewing professionals has been such a unique and valuable experience that I feel like a lot of high school students are not able to have. I’ve learned so much by just having conversations with business professionals over these past few years, and I hope to continue interviewing professionals throughout college. For my research assessment this week, I was a little stuck on where to direct my research for my original work. I knew that I wanted to further look into different digital marketing strategies that can be applied to my campaign for Project Munay, but I was struggling to find an article that I felt resonated with me. I ended up finding an article about Inbound Marketing. Inbound Marketing is a unique approach that has been seen by many marketers as the new way market in this digitally transformed era. It was such a fascinating topic to explore as I was able to learn about the role that this specific marketing strategy plays in attracting customers and raising sales. I looked into different Inbound Marketing forms like custom emails, blog posts, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), digital advertising, and social networks.
