A Look at Social Media as a Powerful Business Tool

This past week didn’t start off too well as I, unfortunately, was getting low-grade fevers. After a little bit of rest, however, I was feeling much better and was excited to begin on my initial research for my original work. My original work will be broken down into three steps: conducting research, creating the strategic marketing plan, and designing the marketing content. I will be using these three steps to create a marketing campaign for the nonprofit I have created over the summer, Project Munay. As a first step in this research process, I knew that I wanted to start by reading about social media as a form of communication and marketing. As I read my article, I came to the conclusion that platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter will be effective tools to begin marketing Project Munay, especially because my nonprofit targets a younger audience. It is truly such a powerful way to market products, and I will definitely be using it when I create the content for my marketing plan. I do, however, want to continue researching various marketing mediums to determine if there are even better ways to go about marketing Project Munay. As I continue my research, I am also curious to figure out if there are any particular marketing strategies or online tools that will be useful when I create my strategic plan and marketing content.
