This last Wednesday in ISM I presented my Original Work speech covering all of my semester one primary and secondary research along with my Original Work. It was such an incredible opportunity to showcase a lot of my work and get to see other ISM student’s projects and research. Doing these presentations and speaking in front of the class is getting a lot easier as I get more comfortable with both the content of my presentations and the students in my class. It has also gotten a lot easier to prepare for these presentations as a lot of the information about my research stayed the same since the last presentation, with the addition of my Original Work portion and mentor slides. I feel like giving that 30 minute presentation during Final Presentation Night will not be as difficult as I anticipated because I will have done so much practice and have a lot of the content already in my head. I also went on my second mentor visit with Ms. Amy George this past week. We went over my Final Product Proposal and my Original Work, and Ms. George was able to give me a lot of great feedback and suggestions. I am excited to get started on my Final Product and cannot wait to see how it turns out.
