Activities

The end of my freshmen year, my friends and I connected our passion for philanthropy and business to create our own smaller form of a social enterprise at Frisco High School. We founded the Humanitarian Environmental Animal Team (H.E.A.T.)  Club, and just like any other start up company, we branded ourselves, gained publicity, and recruitmented members all with a cohesive aim of improving our community and the world. Through ISM, I hope to further explore the connection between entrepreneurship and philanthropy while creating systems, products, and solutions that promote social value.

I am also involved in the chamber orchestra program, where I have continued my musical journey playing the piano and violin for almost nine years. Additionally, I am the vice president of Business Professionals of America (BPA), an organization for interested business students looking to expand their leadership and professional skills through regional, state, and national competitions.
About

Mission

Through my independent study, I strive to expand my knowledge in the business world by connecting my fascination for entrepreneurship and philanthropy. I will gain real world exposure with the guidance of my mentor to strengthen my abilities and receive a unique professional perspective. I will use my passion, curiosity, diligence, and determination to construct a meaningful final product that will bring value to the world. I hope to create change in a field that positively affects the lives of others while conducting my own research and gaining the skills necessary to build a successful future.
