A lot of this last week in ISM consisted of me goal setting, reflecting, brainstorming, and preparing for the future. I was able to draft my four major semester one and two S.M.A.R.T. goals in order to have a plan of action as I continue my ISM journey. These goals will ultimately be a guide for my success as I move forward with the year. They outline what I hope to achieve in terms of my research interviews, mentorship, original work, final product, professional portfolio, and final presentation night speech. Along with this, as I completed my topic proposal, I reflected a lot on my topic of study and past research interviews. In my proposal, I connected a lot of information that I had gained from my previous two interviews and started to realize the bigger picture in terms of what social entrepreneurship truly is. This process allowed me to begin brainstorming different projects I could create through my original work. I want my original work to be beneficial to my community in some way, and I already have a few ideas on how to achieve this. I am thrilled for these next few weeks in ISM as I will be attending the Business Symposium and starting the planning process for my original work.
